Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Gumbs has honed his skills and cultivated a multicultural perspective that enables him to connect with a diverse array of patients. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in nursing from SUNY Downstate, specialized in Psychiatry at Molloy University, and recently culminated his academic journey with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Chatham University.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Gumbs is shaping the future of healthcare as a Professor at Molloy University, where he teaches “Practicum in Primary Care III” to aspiring healthcare professionals.
